Elizabeth Gallik Palgutta
Elizabeth Gallik Palgutta, 74, of Bobtown, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at home.
She was born in California, Pa. on February 22, 1937, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Petrek Gallik.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Palgutta and two brothers, Leonard and John Gallik.
She was a member of Saint Ignatius Roman Catholic Church of Bobtown, where she was a member and Past-President of the Rosary Altar Society, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp., member of Point Marion Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 747 Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of Bobtown Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her sister, Josephine Zavatchen of Richeyville, Pa.; two brothers: Albert Gallik of Mariana, Pa., William Gallik of Dale City, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, Thomas B. Rudolph, Funeral Director & Supervisor, 15 Main St., Point Marion today, September 13, 2011 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church of Bobtown with Rev. Fr. John Bauer as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
