Patricia Louise (Paull) Maciejunes, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Her loving husband of 51 years, John Maciejunes, was by her side.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John, her two children: John Michael Maciejunes of Long Beach, CA and Theresa Louise (Maciejunes) Devine and her husband, Edward Devine of San Diego, CA; along with two grandchildren: Ryan Gregory Maciejunes and Derek Christopher Maciejunes both of Long Beach, CA.

Patricia was born in Continental 3, Pa. on December 15, 1939 and graduated from Georges Township High School in 1958. Following high school, she lived in Ohio and New York, where she met her future husband. She married John Maciejunes of Hacketstown, New Jersey and lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Louisiana and California. She earned her nursing degree while living in Louisiana and was a practicing nurse in California, Louisiana and Pennsylvania for more than 25 years. She traveled extensively with her family and enjoyed many Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans and sunsets on the pier in Santa Monica, California.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Della (Woodmancy) Paull and George Paull and three siblings, Dolores Paull Marks, John ‘Jack’ Paull and Loretta Paull Stehlik.

The family welcomes friends to join them at the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Funeral service begins at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Arnold Husk officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to ‘Best Friends Animal Society.’
