Zackery R. Nelson

Zackery R. Nelson, age 17 of Chalk Hill, Pa., passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 in the Ruby M e m o r i a l Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.

He was born November 11, 1993 in West Virginia, the son of Daniel J. Nelson and Tricia M. (Paull) Nelson.

Zack was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert B. Nelson and Betty L. Nelson.

He was a senior at the Uniontown Area High School Class of 2012. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Uniontown High School Golf Team and was proud to be Captain. An honor student, he also served on the Student Council and was currently working on his Senior Project, coordinating a Golf Tournament that benefits Special Olympics. Zack was active in a number of community projects, enjoyed hunting, fishing and many other sports.

In addition to his loving parents, Daniel and Tricia, he is survived by his loving and devoted brother, Eric J. Josh Nelson; loving grandparents: Robert E. Paull and Donna J. Paull; many loving aunts and uncles; cousins and many, many friends who loved Zack.

Zackery was an extremely caring and compassionate person that everyone was drawn to. Truly his one goal in life was to live life to the fullest and make people laugh.

Friends will be received at the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL H O M E, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue Uniontown, PA, today, Sunday, September 18, 2011, from 4 to 9 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday morning until 10 a.m. the Hour of Service in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Beau Williamson officiating.

Interment follows in Sansom Chapel Cemetery, Farmington.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all their friends and family and the staff at Ruby Memorial Hospital for the outpouring of love and prayers offered for their son and brother, Zackery.
