Hibbs man faces charges following fight with police
A Hibbs man is facing multiple charges after he left the scene of a crash and then later assaulted police in Redstone Township Sept. 8.
Redstone Township police Officer Norman Howard said Allen Eugene Coburn of 531 Summit St. was charged before Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr. with flight to avoid apprehension, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, harassment, drunken driving and several traffic violations.
Howard said the charges were filed after police responded to a vehicle crash on Stone Church Road around 9 p.m. Sept. 8.
