Robert J. Liptock, Jr.
Robert J. Liptock, Jr., age 51, of New Salem, Pa. passed away Monday, September 19, 2011.
He was born March 18, 1960 in Uniontown, Pa., a son of Robert J. Liptock, Sr., of New Salem and the late Dolores A. (Dolly) Crofcheck Liptock.
Robert was a member of St. Procopius Roman Catholic Church, New Salem, he was employed as a Chiropractic Assistant at Uniontown Chiropractic Center, Uniontown, Pa and also the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Robert was an avid hunter, fisherman and sportsman and he was a member of the Fairbank Rod & Gun Club.
Besides his father, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joanne Manchas Liptock; a daughter, Jamie Liptock of Baltimore, MD; a son, Brian Liptock of New Salem; sisters: Stephanie Liptock of New Salem and Michelle Whalen and husband, Terence of Mercer, Pa., many in laws and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 19 Legion St., Republic, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Friday, September 23, 2011 until 9:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Procopius Church with Rev. Father Peter Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
A Paris Wake Service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
