Police investigate shots fired in California

California police are investigating after several gunshots were fired into a home on Liberty Street early today.

Officer Timothy Sheehan said police responded to 135 Liberty St. at 2:45 a.m. after an unidentified man fired multiple shots into the residence.

No one was injured as a result of the shooting, Sheehan said.

Police are continuing to investigate and California University officials are urging students to use caution while moving about the campus today.
