Cumberland plans meeting on block grant

1 min read

The Cumberland Township supervisors will accept public comment on proposed uses for this year’s $115,584 Community Development Block Grant at the municipal building at 3 p.m. Monday.

The entitlement money has to be used to benefit low- and moderate-income residents. The money can be spent on home rehabilitation.

Some of the money will be spent on a new generator for the Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Department station, township officials said.
