George A. Maskarine
George A. Maskarine, 40, of Masontown, Pa., passed away September 22, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Uniontown, Pa. on December 22, 1970, the son of the late George Gundersen and Dorothy (Hanon) Maskarine.
He liked to hunt and fish and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin fan. He was a member of the Masontown Fish and Game Club.
‘Georgie’ will always be remembered for his unselfish and giving spirit. He touched many hearts and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-father, John S. Maskarine, Sr. and nephew Colby James Cole.
He is survived by a brother, John (Mary) Maskarine, Uniontown, Pa.; sisters: Laura (Jack) Cole, Uniontown, Pa. and Lynda (Bill) Riffle, Woodside, Pa.; nephews: Cameron and Colton Cole, B.J. and Luke Riffle; niece: Rachel Maskarine and close friends, Steve and Sharon Rattay.
Friends and family will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., today (Sunday), from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday until 10:00 a.m. the hour of service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Sickle officiating.
Interment follows in Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
