Autopsies confirm murder-suicide in Greene

Autopsies conducted on the bodies of four people found dead at their Greene County home Sunday night have confirmed police suspicion that the deaths were the result of murder-suicide.

State police said four members of a family were found dead at their home at 270 Chartiers Road in Morgan Township around 10 p.m.

They were identified as Kevin Teagarden, 42; Tammy Lynn Teagarden, 40; and two children, Madison Teagarden, 8; and Kevin Teagarden Jr., 22 months.

Following autopsies conducted by forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht, Greene County Coroner Greg Rohanna confirmed that Tammy Teagarden, Madison Teagarden and Kevin Teagarden Jr. each died from a sinlge gunshot wound and that the manner of death was homicide.
