Lawrence Gary Casseday, age 62, Nemacolin, Pa. died September 25, 2011 in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa.

Mr. Casseday was born September 16, 1949 in Masontown, W.Va., the son of the late Harold and Emma (Bolyard) Casseday.

Mr. Casseday was an employee of Allegheny Power’s Hatfield Ferry Power Station at Masontown, Pa. for over 25 years.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Amy Lowry, Nemacolin, Tiffany Mayville, Ellwood City, and Megan Casseday, Ellwood City; 3 brothers: Blaine Casseday, Greensboro, Edward Casseday and wife Val, Richmond, Va., and Sonny Casseday, Washington State, 3 sisters: Norma Bateman and husband Robert, Olive Branch Mississippi, and Linda Casseday; 7 grandchildren, Seth and Gabrielle Lowry, Mackenzie, Kiera, and Kylee Mayville, and Kathlyn and Xavier Lubinsky. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Casseday was preceded in death by a brother: Clarence, and a granddaughter, Holly Lowry.

Lawrence devoted his life to spending as much time as he could with his kids and grandkids. He was a very loving and passionate man who would do anything for anyone. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received in the LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa. 15320 (724-966-5100), Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director /Supervisor on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday 10 to 11. The Funeral Service begins at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Tim Tanner officiating.

Burial will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
