Margaret Frieberg
Margaret Frieberg, age 89 of Hiram, Ohio and formerly of Footedale, Pa., passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Brier Hill Nursing Home, Middlefield, Ohio.
She was born December 8, 1921 in Hope, Pa., a daughter of Paul Hranetz and Margaret (Marovich) Hranetz.
Margaret was a former member of St. Procopious Roman Catholic Church, New Salem, Pa., a member of the Rosary, Altar and Christian Mothers of St. Procopious Church and a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Footedale Volunteer Fire Department.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Steve G. Freiberg in 1984, a daughter-in-law Mary Freiberg, a sister Wilma Yeo, brother Paul and Joseph Hranetz and her parents.
Surviving are her sons: Bernard Freiberg of Chardon, Ohio, Leonard Freiberg and wife Judith of Mentor, Ohio, Ronald Freiberg of Parkman, Ohio and Robert Freiberg and wife Debra of Hiram, Ohio; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a sister Mary Yurick of Wickliffe, Ohio.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 20 North Mill St., New Salem, Pa. on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 1, 2011 until 9:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Procopious Church with Rev. Fr. Peter Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
