Marian E. ‘Buttons’ (Burden) Dantzler
Marian E. ‘Buttons’ Burden Dantzler, age 57 of Leckrone, Pa., passed away on Friday evening, September 23, 2011 in the Washington Hospital Washington, Pa. She was born November 19, 1953 Uniontown, Pa.,daughter of the late Wilfred Burden and Lilly Mae (Powell) Burden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Wilfred Scott Dantzler.
Marian graduated from the former German Township High School and California State College. She attended Ronco First Baptist Church. Marian was employed with Triple Inc., as a Social Worker. She was on the Board of Directors at Laurel House, Inc. She previously worked for Drug and Alcohol.
Marian loved to can and most of all she loved her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother!
She is survived by her beloved husband, Greg Dantzler; loving children: Marcella Bonnette and her husband Antonio of Washington, Pa.,
Gregory ‘GD’ Dantzler II and fiancé Tara Novelli of Leckrone; grand-daughters: Gabriel Elizabeth and Olivia Annessa; special and devoted pet ‘Ramsey’; sisters and brothers: Maxine Simms of Cleveland, Ohio, Willa Mogillas and husband Huey of Hopwood, Pa., Frances Burden of Ronco, Pa., Wilfred Burden Jr., of Reading, Pa., Ronald Burden of Cleveland, Ohio and Michael Burden and wife Tiffany of Ronco, Pa.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the RONCO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. Funeral Service starts at 11:30 a.m.
Interment follows in the Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
