John William Scott, Sr.
John William Scott, Sr., 45 of Jacksonville, Florida and formerly of McClellandtown, Pa. passed away June 28, 2011.
He graduated from German Township High School, class of 1983. After graduation, he joined the Navy and served for 13 years.
John loved to read, play computer games and watch superhero movies. His children were the center of his world!
He is survived by his mother and father Barbara Jean Hutzel Demaske and Water A. Demaske, Sr. of Greensboro, Pa.; his wife Tammy Scott; four children: Elizabeth, DeLynn, Barbara and John Jr. of Florida; brother Walter Demaske, Jr., his wife Melissa and their son Matthew of Masontown and his grandmother Mary Hutzel of McClellandtown.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother Louis Stephen Demaske, his grandfather John William Hutzel and his grandparents Jacob and Caroline Demaske.
There will be a Mass in memory of John on Saturday, October 1 at 10 a.m. at ALL SAINTS R. C. CHURCH, Masontown with Father John M. Butler as celebrant.
