William M. Colbert
William M. Colbert, 57 of Dawson, Pa. passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Connellsville, Pa. on October 9, 1953, the son of William L. and Betty Culler Colbert.
A retiree of Green Acres Contracting, Inc., member of the Dawson Volunteer Fire Company, James Cochran Lodge No. 614 F & AM, Dawson-Vanderbilt Lions, Brownfield Community Center, Philip G. Cochran United Methodist Church, International Association of the Operating Engineers Local 66, Dickerson Run Cemetery Board and National Pike Steam Association.
Surviving are his wife Wannona J. Herbert Colbert; two children: Melissa R. Loughman and husband Richard Jr., William L. Colbert and wife Kimberly; 5 loving grandchildren: Emily and Elliott Loughman, Chasity, Callie Rae, William M. (Morgan) Colbert; two sisters: Patricia Lint and husband Eugene and Dara Hoke and husband Kenneth, all of Dawson.
Preceded in his death by grandparents: William and Eva Colbert and Bessie Culler Ruffner.
RALPH GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be Monday, October 3 at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Reverend David A. Bell officiating.
