Eva A. Sevec Vojtush

Eva A. Sevec Vojtush, 96, formerly of Clarksville, Pa. died Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Evergreen Assisted Living, Waynesburg, Pa.

She was born April, 16, 1915 in Clarence, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Eva (Kasaj) Sevec.

Mrs. Vojtush was a lifetime and founding member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Clarksville, Pa. and a member of the Christian Mothers and Rosary Society. She taught CCD classes and was also a charter member of the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She would do everything she could for her loving family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grand-children and great grand-children who she loved very much and was referred to as their “Prayer Warrior”.

Survived by four daughters: Bernadette Impiccini (Roman) of Washington, Pa., Margaret Sinko (Kenneth) of Denbo, Pa., Therese Bates (Ronald) of Waynesburg, Pa. and Monica Crawford (William) of Jefferson, Pa.; two sons, Richard Vojtush (Helen) of Twinsburg, Ohio and Anthony Vojtush of Hanover, Pa.; six grand-children: Vincent Impiccini, John Vojtush, Richard Vojtush, Deborah Paradise, Don Vojtush and Michelle Smith; five great grand-children; one brother, John Sevec (Elizabeth) of Washington, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is her husband Andrew Joseph Vojtush who died August 21, 1972.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a grandson, Phillip Impiccini, two sisters, Mary Sevec and Veronica A. Sevec, four brothers, Joseph, Frank, Andrew and George Sevec and a daughter-in-law,Patricia Vojtush.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 8 p.m. in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Frederick-town, PA where prayers will be said at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 followed by a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Clarksville, Pa. with Rev. Francis Frazier as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Crucible, Pa..
