Ann Catherine (Rukse) Stefanini
Ann Catherine (Rukse) Stefanini, age 85, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., died on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Golden Living Health Care Center.
She was born on January 27, 1927 in Leith, Pa., daughter of John and Frances (Kulovic) Rukse.
Ann was the last surviving member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Leonard A. Stefanini; brothers, John and Joseph Rukse and sisters, Frances Sokoly, Louise Marvin, and Mary Thomas.
Ann and her husband were the owners of Stefanini’s Lounge and Restaurant for many years. She loved animals, and was a very compassionate and kind woman, always concerned about the needs of others.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Carol Tom and husband Louis of Lemont Furnace; her grandson, Leonard ‘Lenny’ Tom and wife Rebecca of Uniontown, Pa.; and her great-grandson, Rocco Elliott Tom. She is also survived by her very special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Joan Stefanini of Hopwood, Pa. and Louis and Joan Stefanini of Parma, Ohio and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends will b e received a t t h e STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown PA, on Friday, April 6, from 9 until 10 a.m.
A Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Father James Clark officiating.
Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
