Lorie Ann Porter
Lorie Ann Porter, age 42, of Dunbar, Pa., died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at home.
S h e w a s b o r n o n January 9, 1970 in Washington, Pa., the daughter of Ronald P. Porter and Mary Jo (Mavrich) Porter.
She was a member of Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar.
She enjoyed the outdoors, riding horses and quads, fishing, and water skiing.
She worked as a Clerk for Sunoco A-Plus Mini-Mart in Uniontown and was previously employed by Amy Lynn’s Mart in Smithfield, Pa., and the now former Gee-Bee Department Store in Uniontown.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Lisa Porter of Dunbar; brother Ronald C. Porter and wife Tammy of Dunbar; companion, Samantha Galterio of Dunbar; maternal grandmother, Helen Mavrich; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry and Florence Porter; and her maternal grandfather, Leonard Mavrich.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville St., Dunbar.
The Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.
Morning Prayers will be said in funeral home on Wednesday April 11, at 10:30 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. J. Edward McCullough as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery.
