Perryopolis woman charged in attempted homicide

A Perryopolis woman is behind bars for attempted homicide after police allege she used her car to strike a man in Dunbar Township Wednesday afternoon.

State police Trooper Nicholas Benkovich said Jessica Rae Wilson, 19, of 712 Hancock Road was charged before Magisterial District Judge Wendy D. Dennis with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct following the incident.

Benkovich said the incident occurred when Wilson and Tony P. Leisure Jr., no address available, got into an argument at a location in Dunbar Township shortly after 1 p.m.
