Menallen man jailed on drug charges

By Josh Krysak heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

A Menallen Township man is facing multiple charges after police allege a burned out bulb used to illuminate a license plate on his vehicle led officers to a large cache of illegal drugs and cash Friday night.

Uniontown police Patrolman Michael Bittner said Joshua L. Jordan, 25, of 3 Dearth Lane was charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bittner said the charges were filed after he conducted a traffic stop at 10:50 p.m. on a car being driven by Jordan after watching the car drive at a high rate of speed on Coolspring Street and also noticed that the bulb that should illuminate the license plate on the vehicle was burned out.
