Kathryn Eloise Benson Fisher, age 91 of Markleysburg, Pa. passed a w a y o n Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Henry C l a y Villa, Markleysburg, Pa. 

She was born August 16, 1921 in Bruceton Mills, W.Va., daughter of the late Earl and Lorena (Scott) Benson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur R.Fisher in 2000, a daughter Debra A. Fisher in January 2012 and a brother Duane Benson and sister Betty Jane Benson.

Kathryn was a member of the Markleysburg Church of the Brethren and a Member of the Markleysburg Grange No. 1947. She typed and printed the District No. 9 Newsletter. Kathryn was co-owner of the Fisher-Fazio nursing home.

Surviving are children: H. Daniel Fisher and wife Peggy of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Carol Lee Thomas and husband Kenny of Friendsville, Md., Audrey E. Fisher of Greensburg, Pa., Pamela Custer and James R. Fisher, both of Markleys-burg, Pa., Thomas E. Fisher and wife Linda of Chalk Hill, Pa.; 15 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren; one brother Arthur E. Benson of Sewickley, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the RODNEY S. TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 254 Main St., Markleysburg, Pa. on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Additional viewing will be held Saturday in the MARKLEYSBURG CHURCH OF BRETHREN from Noon to 1 p.m., the hour of service with Pastor Charles Teets.

Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery.
