In an article published Thursday about Gov. Tom Corbett rejecting an exchange option that would provide Pennsylvanians with a marketplace for buying health insurance, U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz was misidentified as a U.S. senator.
A harassment charge filed by Uniontown police against Vincent E. Nesser, 54, of 5 Francis St., Uniontown, for an alleged argument he had with Tammy Shwallon, also of Uniontown, was reduced to a summary citation earlier this week. An article published in Friday’s newspaper inaccurately referred to Shwallon as Nesser’s ex-wife. Nesser and Shwallon were never married.
Fayette County Commissioner Angela M. Zimmerlink said that when the 2013 county budget is presented next week for passage, she will not vote to use the Marcellus shale impact fee to cover the $110,000 pension fund payment shortfall. The clarification resulted from a story published Friday regarding the county’s use of the impact fee proceeds.
