Katherine Darlene Armel, 56, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 in Laurel Ridge Nursing Center. 

She was born August 29, 1956 in Uniontown.

Katherine graduated from German Township High School.

She was a member of the World Christian Outreach Church.

She was a very loving mother, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William Yauger and Sarah (Hersh) Yauger; brother, Lester Wilson; sister, Shirley Bowman.

Surviving are children: Sarah M. Rankin and Clifford Armel Jr. both of Uniontown, Pa.; five grandchildren: Sierra, Katherine, Isaiah, Joshua and Cole; a sister, Janet Sechrist and husband Rod of Vanderbilt, Pa.; a brother, Dale Wilson and wife Mary of Mansfield, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today Noon to 2 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, December 31, from Noon until 1 p.m Services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Glenn Wills officiating.

Private interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
