Ray C. Skinner, 62, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at home with his loving family at his side.

He was born December 16, 1949 in Confluence, Pa., son of the late Marvin and Mabel (Spear) Skinner.

Ray was a Vietnam veteran serving with the U.S. Marines. He was a member of Ft. Necessity V.F.W. and the Vietnam Veterans VVI. He was employed with DEMCO Excavating in Farmington and was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan and a life long truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Edith Messmer.

Surviving are his wife Debra (Gleason) Skinner; two daughters Kimberly Coddington and husband Ralph, Susan VanSickle and husband Brian; two step-sons Thomas Murray II and Amy, Brian P. Murray and Lynn, all of Farmington; four grandchildren: Cassidy VanSickle, Chase, Xavier and Cassandra Murray and an additional grandchild to be born in May; three sisters: Priscilla Morrison and husband Roger of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Cheryl Hunter of Uniontown, Gloria Kermes and husband Steve of Farmington; a brother – in – law Paul Messmer of Confluence and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday until 11 a.m., the hour of the service with Rev. Terry Collins officiating.

Interment will follow in Humbertson Cemetery.

Ft. Necessity VFW will hold military services at graveside.
