Police seek would-be robber
State police are searing for a woman accused of trying to rob a gas station in Bullskin Township early this morning.
Police said the woman walked into the Honey Bear Sunoco at 2561 Memorial Boulevard around 4:13 a.m., and first tried to take money from the cash register. When the clerk in the store confronted the woman about what she was doing, police said the woman said “I want your money.”
Then, she left the gas station and got into a gray or silver sedan and drove south on Route 119 toward Connellsville, Trooper Scott A. Dowlin said in a news release.
Police said the woman, who is white, is between 5 feet and 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs between 160 and 170 pounds. She was wearing a navy blue beanie and black sunglasses, a white Phat Farm hooded t-shirt, blue jeans and tan shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call the station at 724-439-7111.
