Dorothy Domon
Dorothy Domon, 84 of Rices Landing, Pa. and formerly of Clarksville, Pa., passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at her home.
She was born May 26, 1927, daughter of the now late Frank and Mildred Salko. On May 29, 1948 at St. Thomas Church, she married Walter ‘Tudge’ Domon who died November 5, 2002.
Dorothy was a graduate of East Bethlehem High School, class of 1945,
Mrs. Domon’s greatest love was for her family and her church. She was an active member of St. Thomas Church of Clarksville, where she had been an organist and later sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Thomas Church.
She is survived by the following: her daughters: Peggy (Dan) Barger; Debbie (Michael) Stuck and Lisa Barger; two granddaughters: Mardanna ‘Rolando’ Soto and Shaunna Stuck; a great-granddaughter Makenzie Soto; a sister Margaret ‘Peg’ Nickler; several nieces and nephews and her caregivers and special friends Bunny and Beverly.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are brothers John ‘Jack’ Salko and Robert ‘Butch’ Salko.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. today (Friday, February 10, 2012) at the FRANK BURKUS FUNERAL HOME, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro. Services will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church, Clarksville with Father Francis Frazer officiating.
Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park.
