FACT to stop some medical assistance trips

A decease in state transportation funding will mean that Fayette Area Coordinated Transportation will eliminate some medical assistance trips starting April 1.

FACT executive director Lori Groover-Smith said that as of April 1, FACT will not be providing shared ride trips under the Medical Assistance Transportation Program, with the exception of dialysis and chemotherapy. She added that there will be no mileage reimbursement after March 31.
