Assault charges filed against a South Union Township woman accused of allegedly stabbing her husband during a domestic dispute Jan. 12 were dismissed this morning.

State police Trooper Nathan R. Swink said Malisa Conroy, 33, of South Union Township was charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George with aggravated assault, simple assault, unsworn falsification to authorities, false reports and harassment following the alleged stabbing at 905 Surrey Hill Drive in South Union Township at 11:30 a.m.

George dismissed both assault charges and the harassment count against Conroy after her husband refused to testify against her during a preliminary hearing today.
