By Heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

State police said they are investigating a report of indecent assault in South Union Township.

Trooper Craig Soltis said the alleged incident occurred between 11:30 and 11:45 p.m. Feb. 20 at Surrey Hill Apartments.

According to Soltis, the incident occurred when a South Union Township woman allowed her ex-boyfriend, also of South Union, to enter her residence to retrieve some items.

Soltis said that while inside the apartment, the ex-boyfriend made multiple sexual advances toward the woman, and when she declined, he proceeded to perform a sexual act in front of her. He then physically assaulted her before leaving the residence.

Soltis said that police are continuing to investigate and that charges likely will be filed.

The identity of the suspect is being withheld pending the formalization of charges.
