Uniontown police said they have filed charges against a Uniontown mother accused of failing to seek medical attention for her 2-month-old daughter after the baby’s father dropped her during a domestic dispute at their Uniontown home.

Detective Donald M. Gmitter said Beth Ann Stout-Snyder, 38, of 83 S. Mount Vernon Ave. was charged by Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with endangering the welfare of a child following a police investigation into the incident.

Gmitter said that charge was filed after police arrested Carlos Remington Jackson, 48, also 83 S. Mount Vernon Ave. on charges including simple assault, recklessly endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

According to Gmitter, the charges against the couple were filed after they got into an argument at their home Dec. 29.
