A band of snow snaked its way from Lake Erie into the area yesterday  and gave us some heavy snow squalls from time to time that really started to pile up late yesterday afternoon.

We had our coldest day of the winter with a high yesterday of 15, the overnight low -2 and at 7AM we’re at -1 under partly cloudy skies. We had 3 inches of snow, melted down its .12 liquid precipitation and we have 6 inches of snow on the ground. Today will be cold again, but it’s going to feel a lot better than yesterday and we may even see a little sunshine around.  A weak front could touch off a snow shower late tonight then we’ll start a nice warm up into Saturday.
