Elizabeth S. (Lewis) Mickens, age 63 of Fairchance, Pa., passed away Wednesday January 25, 2012 at home with her family by her side.

She was born December 5, 1948 in Uniontown, Pa., to the late David Lewis and Mary (Saunders) Lewis.

Elizabeth was faithful member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Fairchance where she served as vice president of the usher board.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Daryl C. Mickens and siblings: Samuel Lewis, Winfred Lewis, Virginia Lewis, Harry Lewis, Mildred Hurdle, Gertrude Wilson, Constance Sims, John Lewis and Gladys Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Craig Mickens (Tania Trivonovich-Mickens) of Uniontown, Pa., Amy Mickens of Uniontown, Pa., Danielle Mickens (Jeffrey Harris) of Fairchance, Pa. and Dione Mickens of Eastpoint, Ga.; siblings: Lorraine McClung, Christine Truley and Mary Jane Tracey and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at the MOUNT CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH on Morgantown St. in Fairchance, Pa. on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will also be held at the church Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME of Uniontown, Pa.
