Drunken man arrested for threatening EMT

State police charged a 58-year-old Connellsville man with various counts including public drunkenness, terroristic threats and aggravated assault after he allegedly swung a shovel at and threatened an EMS worker who had arrived to check on a neighbor Sunday night in Bullskin Township.

Robert Shaner is facing charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, harassment and public drunkenness for the incident, which occurred at 10:22 p.m. Sunday.
