Robert ‘Lance’ Mark Ulicne

Robert “Lance” Mark Ulicne, age 53, of Cokeburg and formerly of Richeyville, Pa., died Friday, January 27, 2012 in his home after a brief illness.

He was born March 21, 1958 in Brownsville, Pa., the son of Robert Martin Ulicne and Helen (Bozick) Ulicne.

Mr. Ulicne was a 1976 graduate of Beth-Center High School and a graduate of the Dean Technical Institute.

From 1978 to 1981 he served with the United States Navy aboard the USS Independence.

Mr. Ulicne was employed by the Army Corps of Engineers at Lock and Dam system for many years.

He later was employed by Maple Creek Mine Mining.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 165 in Bentleyville, Moose Club in Cokeburg, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Washington, Pa., and the Wounded Warriors.

Mr. Ulicne enjoyed Classic Cars.

Surviving are his wife, Toni (Schwindling) Ulicne; a sister, Roberta Ulicne Storey of Houston, Texas; three step children: Alan Selvoski, Jessica Selvoski and Theresa Selvoski all of Cokeburg; and step-grandson, Austin Selvoski of Cokeburg.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 (time will be announced).

Interment will follow in The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies, Cecil, Pa.
