Michael Eric Clark
Michael Eric Clark, 59, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 24, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was b o r n December 12 1952 in Uniontown, Pa.
Mike graduated from Laurel Highlands Senior High School in 1972 and attended Penn State-Fayette Campus. He also attended Kerr Street Institute where he received his certification as an electrician.
Shortly thereafter, he relocated to Aurora, Colorado. He was employed for 17 years with Torgerson Electric as a Foreman. The Colorado State Electrical Board certified him as an apprentice. He returned to Uniontown in December 2009. He was a member of New Beginning Full Gospel Church.
Michael was a very friendly and outgoing person to everyone he met. He enjoyed taking daily walks with his dog Nemo who was his constant companion and loyal friend. He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos.
Michael was the son of Deacon Otto Clark, Jr. and Mary Clark. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Jonathan Clark (Jamie), Philadelphia, Pa.; former wife Pam Clark, Aurora, Colorado; siblings: Lois Thomas (William), Hopwood, Pa.; Terry Clark (Carmelita), Cardale, Pa.; Joseph Clark (LaRina), New Market, Va.; Debra Clark, Uniontown, Pa.; Tee Clark, Burtonsville, Md.; his beloved dog, Nemo; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at NEW BEGINNING FULL GOSPEL CHURCH, 93 Jefferson Street, Uniontown, PA on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral service begins at 6 p.m. with Bishop Leonard Tucker officiating.
Arrangements by LANTZ FUNERAL HOME. Interment at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown PA.
