The name of the pilot killed in a plane crash last Friday near Coopers Rock State Forest has been released by the West Virginia State Medical Examiner’s Office
The medical examiner’s office has identified Richard Lee Lambert, 63, of Columbus Ohio, as the pilot of a private charter airplane that hit a West Virginia Public Broadcast radio tower. The plane crashed near Sand Spring Campground in Monongalia County.
