2012 – 2013 season passes now available for purchase

Hidden Valley, PA – After enjoying another successful winter season, Hidden Valley Resort is unveiling its 2012 spring hours of operation, discounted rates and the sale of 2012 – 2013 season passes. The resort is also holding its fourth annual Spring Carnival March 10 and 11.

Hidden Valley season passes for the 2012 – 2013 ski season will be on sale at the lowest available price March 1 through March 31. Pass rates increase April 1. Individuals who purchase a 2012 – 2013 pass can ski and board free for the duration of the 2011 – 2012 season and enjoy additional pass perks all year.

Spring hours of operation and discounted rates take effect Monday, March 5. The slopes will be open 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. March 5 and 6; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. March 7 and 8; 10 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. March 9; 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. March 10; and 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. March 11.

“We want to thank this season’s guests for helping us make the 2011 – 2012 winter season a great success,” said Scott Bender, vice president of resort operations. “And we hope everyone will continue to visit the resort for spring skiing conditions and savings.”

Spring lodging rate discounts for the Four Seasons Lodges begin March 4 and are in effect through the close of the winter season. In addition, the “Incredible $99 Stay and Ski More” package that includes two days of free skiing for two, will be extended to include Thursday nights beginning March 8.

Hidden Valley’s fourth annual Spring Carnival will be March 10 and 11. A “Carnivále” theme brings the festivities of Rio de Janeiro to the mountains for two days of family fun, games and prizes. Activities and games including an obstacle course, face painting, an adventure race, cake walk, snow volleyball, a treasure dig, jewelry making and more are scheduled 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day.
