Clyde E. Barber Jr.
Clyde E Barber Jr., age 82, of Lowber, Fayette City, Pa., passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 3, 2012 with his loving family at his side.
He was born March 18, 1929 in Adah, Pa., the son of the late Clyde E. Barber Sr. and Mary Catherine Cook Barber.
Clyde served in the United States Army Airborne Screaming Eagles during the K o r e a n War. Clyde was a member of the Brightwell-Daugherty American Legion Post 484 in Fayette City, Pa.
He was a member of the Little Redstone Presbyterian Church and served as a church Deacon.
Clyde retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Allenport Plant in 1992.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Amy Bronson Barber; son, Larry Barber and wife Kathy of Perryopolis, Pa.; daughter, Carol Barber of South Park, Pa.; daughter, Connie Skibo and husband Bob of Fayette City; grandchildren: Tracy Frye and husband Jim, Rhonda Hatheway and her husband Don, Larry Barber and wife Cara, Christopher Barber, Amy Birkhimer and Chris, Sarah Petro and her husband Scott, Clint Skibo; and eight great-grandchildren: Travis and Kate Frye, Chelsea, Donnie, Morgan, Veronica and Reagan Hatheway and Nina Bowser.

Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, Pa.
