Dunbar man charged in assault
A Dunbar man is behind bars after police allege he assaulted his pregnant girlfriend during a domestic dispute Tuesday night.
State police Trooper Gerald Powell said Scott Wayne Thomas, 40, of 22 York St. was charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with simple assault and harassment following the fight with Jodi Hatfield.
Powell said the altercation occurred shortly before midnight at the couples home.
