Suspect arraigned in alleged sexual exploitation case
State police took a Connellsville man into custody Tuesday after he allegedly sexually exploited a Colorado teenager by sending her sexually explicit text messages in recent months.
Trooper Craig M. Soltis said police secured a warrant last week for the arrest of Wayne Nicholas Hillyard, 22, of 2119½ S. Pittsburgh St. on charges including sexual exploitation of children, sexual abuse of children, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal used of a communication facility following the interactions with the 16-year-old.
