Uniontown woman waives theft charges
A Uniontown woman police allege bilked a service provider for a Fayette County social service agency out of $18,000 over a seven-month period last year will stand trial.
State police Trooper James A. Pierce said Christine N. Sickles, 41, of Morgantown Road was charged with four counts of theft by deception from Fayette Resources Inc., a service provider that helps people with disabilities, according to its website.
Sickles waived all charges against her to Fayette County Court during a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Wendy D. Dennis.
