Police investigating shooting of horse
State police are investigating the shooting death of a horse at a Springhill Township farm between Wednesday and Thursday.
Trooper Shawn W. Hagyari indicated that Edith Buncic, 81, of Smithfield reported that someone shot the horse in the head at her farm off of Gan Hill School Road between 3:30 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the station at 724-439-7111.
