Marcia (Katzeff) Cohen
Mrs. Marcia (Katzeff) Cohen a widow and wife of the late Harold Cohen, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 in the Martin’s Run Care Facility, Media, Pa.
Her parents were Jack and Edith Katzeff.
She was born in Charleston, West Virginia, where she graduated from Charleston High School.
She earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Social Work from West Virginia University.
Mrs. Cohen was a former resident of Uniontown, Pa., a housewife and homemaker.
She was a former Board Member and also a member of the Sisterhood of Tree of Life Synagogue in Uniontown. She was a member of Hadassah, Bnai Brith Women and served as a v o l u n t e e r for the American Cancer Society.
She is survived by four daughters, L y n d a C o h e n, Jennifer (Barry) Lessin, Carol Melman (Michael) Brown and Karen Cohen (Norman) Block, along with two grandchildren, Erica and Aaron Melman.
Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. at HOLY SOCIETY CEMETERY, Hopwood, Pa.
