Sarah Pitts Alberts
Sarah K. (Pitts) Alberts, age 85, of Herbert, Pa., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at M o u n t Macrina M a n o r, Uniontown, Pa.
She was born December 2, 1926 at Lumberport, West Virginia, daughter of Edward Pitts and Maggie Powell Pitts.
Sarah was a faithful member of The Church of God in Uniontown, Pa.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Alberts; a sister and two brothers, Thelma Pitts, Homer Pitts and William Pitts.
She is survived by two sisters and two brothers: Frankie Colucci of Uniontown, Pa., Lucille Back of York Run, Pa., Paul Pitts and his wife Nancy of Dunbar, Pa., Joseph Pitts and his wife Esther of Garfield Heights, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pitts of Uniontown, Pa., Beatrice Pitts of Jamieson, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 after 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in THE CHURCH OF GOD, Route 51 North, Uniontown, Pa., from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with her P a s t o r, Elliot C. Leighty, officiating.
Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
