Your help needed to benefit local vets
The Washington County Young Marines needs the support of the community in helping local veterans at the Dept. of Veteran Affairs VA Medical Center.
Our members will be conducting a drive for supplies and cash donations to benefit the patients at the VA hospital ranging in ages from 20-101.
Steel City Harley Davidson and Honda, located at 1375 Washington Road in Washington, PA, is graciously hosting our drive on Sat. March 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Supplies needed include personal items such as stick deodorant, denture cleaner, body wash, etc. and recreational items such as books, audio books, cd players. movies, puzzle books, Wii games and accessories. postal stamps and phone cards will allow them to keep in touch with their loved ones.
This is your chance to show your support for the heroes who have served our country and to show our youth that together we can make a difference in their lives. Please stop by and be generous to those that have given so much to our country.
