Man killed in Donegal Township crash

A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon when the motorcycle he was driving and a vehicle driven by an Acme man collided in Donegal Township, Westmoreland County.

State police said the motorcyclist, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh following the crash. Police said the accident occurred when the motorcycle and a vehicle driven by Randy Enberg, 52, collided as Enberg was pulling out of a driveway onto Route 31 around 1:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist was flown by medical helicopter from the scene. Police said Enberg was not injured.

Investigators said Enberg was wearing a seat belt and the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet when the collision occurred.
