The first day of spring was like summer here in SW Pa as we broke our record high temperature for the fourth day in a row.  The last time we had a string of record highs to rival this was the March heat wave of 1998 when we had highs of 80-81-82-83 on the last 4 days of the month.  The high yesterday was 78, the overnight low and the 7AM temperatures are 43 degrees and we have some fog here at Chalkhill.  There was no precipitation yesterday.  We’ll by dry with  more record warmth as strong high pressure holds into Friday evening when a slow moving storm will bring showers and cooler air for the weekend.
