Edward L. ‘Babe’ Croftcheck
Edward L. ‘Babe’ Croftcheck, age 69 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Monday March 26, 2012 in Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 3, 1942 in Brier Hill, Pa., son of the late John Croftcheck and Mary (Votano) Croftcheck.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sister, Pauline Bryson, Robert Croftcheck and Eugene Croftcheck.
Edward was retired from J & L Steel, a member of UMWA District 2 Local 762 and a retired employee of Goodwill Industries.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Shirley Guthrie of Fredericktown, John Croftcheck and wife Faye of Uniontown, Betty Moore of Uniontown, Joseph Croftcheck, Sr. of Hopwood and Mary Jane Craft and husband Robert of Uniontown and many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, March 30, 2012 until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Peter L. Peretti officiating.
Interment will follow in Jacobs Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Masontown.
