Americanism Day parade
Crowds of people lined Main Street in downtown Uniontown to cheer the procession of military veterans, marching bands, scout packs and fire departments that took part in the 78th annual Americanism Day parade on Tuesday.
The nearly hour-long parade was the highlight of Americanism Day.
The history of the parade and issues facing veterans were the subjects of a program held before the parade at American Legion Post 51, which organized the first parade in 1934.
