Morgantown man charged in Georges Township burglary

A West Virginia man is behind bars in Fayette County after police allege he was caught burglarizing an auto repair shop in Georges Township.

State police Trooper Ryan Remmington said Thomas Eugene Mickey, 55, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with burglary, criminal attempt burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.

Remmington said that the owner A&F Auto Service, Stanley French, of Georges Township told police that he heard glass breaking inside his business through an intercom that is connnected from the auto shop on Rubles Mill Road and his residence.
