Irene Barber Hess of Morgantown, formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away at home on Sunday, April 29, 2012 exactly two months before her 97th birthday.

A private service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave, Uniontown, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Water Filter Fund c/o International Childcare Ministries 770 North High School Road, Indianapolis, IN 46214 or childcareministries.org .
